Sandbox is a term that has been around since the beginning of web development. If you're building and testing in a web site or web application against a larger API chances are you are interacting with a 'sandbox.' PayPal has a sandbox, as does Amazon, et cetera. It's often a mirror of a site that does not process requests or doesn't matter if you break. A Sandbox implies a sense of perpetual beta.
Since I am a web developer and designer I am constantly trying out new technologies, striving to improve, learning new techniques and applications, updating my skill-set. I need a web space that allows me to explore and learn as well as communicate with both my clients and with the greater web development community. As such, this site will not be static. Anything is subject to change, design, layout, functionality, text, code, accessibility.
